As already pointed out, the selection phases are divided into three stages, in order to give the assessment and election process maximum transparency and fairness.
Therefore, at each stage, the evaluation is carried out by various groups of experts:
- Pre-selection -> preformed by the Scientific Committee.
The staff is composed by experts in the tourism field, whom have
years of experience
in tourism promotion and organization of prestigious events.
- First stage of the selection -> made by
professional Buyers of the luxury tourism sector and international
journalists
- Second
phase of the selection-> jury of independent experts
(specialised journalists, academics, representatives of tourism
establishments,
landscape architects) chaired by the President of
the Jury.
